Enjoy one of the few destinations in the world that has not been affected by people. This is a truly pristine jungle where you can experience nature in its most perfect setting. Of the jungle experiences in Latin America, we believe that the most exciting is a visit to the Tambopata National Park. From your steps in Puerto Maldonado to your night hikes along the jungle, you will experience the pristine Amazon Jungle. Wild life, beautiful flora and a fauna will be yours to cherish in this incredible tour. This is a trip that both true conservationist and curious travelers will enjoy.
	DAY 1: Trip to Tambopata Jungle Arrive in the jungle town of Puerto Maldonado. Airport and transfer to the Lodge. You will embark on 45-minutes cruise down river in outboard handmade motor boat. Along the river one may see caimans (alligators), birds, flowering trees native to the region. Overnight at the Lodge.
	DAY 2: Excursion to Monkey Island & Sandoval Lake Early on the morning we will visit Collpa, where a minimum of 5 different species of parrots come down from the trees to eat a special type of clay, indispensable for their metabolism. After breakfast, we visit Monkey Island and the marvelous Sandoval Lake. Picnic at the forest and Sandoval Lake excursion. This lake offers extraordinary scenery of waters surrounded by palms, aguaje and other primary forest trees. During the journey one might observe the local rich flora and fauna of the place: river otters, caimans (alligators), turtles and rare Amazonian birds. After a great day we return to the river at night to see some nocturnal animals. Overnight at the Lodge.
	DAY 3: Stream and small farm visit After breakfast, we will have an expedition in rowing canoe to the mysterious stream. We will fish and see a variety of fauna, flora and tropical birds. After lunch we leave the boat and visit what in its time was a hospital in the middle of the jungle. Overnight at the Lodge.
	DAY 4: Return to Lima & Points Beyond After a much need good sleep, we will have a style tropical breakfast in the return to the city of Puerto Maldonado. Many will head home that same day as our program will officially be over. However, for those wish to extend, our reservations staff will be pleased to offer assistance in organizing any side-trip or additional tours.
