We will fly above the famous Nazca Lines which are over 5,000 years old and whose origins are completely unknown and enjoy the Paracas bay, which is a first rate natural sanctuary with many marine species, mammals and birds. Paracas is an excellent ecological destiny for people who love the nature and marine biodiversity, it also offers archaeological ruins and it is a great place to relax.

DAY 1: Trip to Ica & Flight over Nazca Lines
Bus trip from Lima to Ica. From there you will take a flight to Nazca where you will enjoy a one and a half hour flight over the Nazca lines. In a land of archaeological mysteries, the most interesting are the Nazca Lines since nobody knows where they came from.
They were discovered in 1939 by scientist Paul Kosok. These geometrical figures and drawings of birds and animals are as large as 1,000 feet in size and are estimated to be approximately 2,000 years old. After the flight, you will go on a city tour of Ica where you will visit the Regional Museum, the Lord of Luren Sanctuary, the Huacachina Lagoon, the Main Plaza, and the Achirana del Inca, which is a 500-year-old irrigation channel from Inca times.
Culminating your day with a sweet touch, you will also visit the famous Helena chocolate factory. Overnight in Ica.

DAY 2: Trip to Paracas - Balestas Islands & Return to Lima
Early in the morning, you will take a bus to Paracas where you will enjoy of a motorboat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, in the Paracas National Reserve. Here you will observe close ups of sea lions, boobies, pelicans, pelicans, penguins and other marine birds, among the many other species which converge there looking for shelter. On the boat trip over to the islands, the famous “Candelabra” can be seen; an enigmatic form in the sand that many people believe is related to the Nazca lines.
After Lunch, you will take a bus back to Lima. Many will head home that same day as our program will officially be over. However, for those wish to extend, our reservations staff will be pleased to offer assistance in organizing any side-trip or additional tours.
