DAY BY DAY ITINERARY Mystical and Spiritual program

  • Day 1: Arrival to Lima

Upon your arrival to Lima Airport, our representative will meet you at the airport and take you to the Ramada Airport hotel in Lima.

  • Day 2 Connecting flight to Cusco + Transfer to Sacred Valley + Free afternoon (optional Relaxing yoga session) (B,L)

After breakfast at your Hotel in Lima you will catch your short, one-hour flight to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Incas, located at 11,100 feet above sea level. You will be met upon arrival at the airport in Cusco, and directly transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will check in at your hotel and you will have some time to rest and allow your body to assimilate to the altitude and climate. We strongly believe it’s best to take it easy this day to let your body adjust to the altitude. Some find enjoying a cup of hot coca tea a real help in adjusting to the high elevation and that is what the locals traditionally use coca for. We suggest you a restorative yoga session as optional activity for the afternoon. This class will give you an “active relaxation.” We will stimulate and relax the body to move toward balance. Some poses have an overall benefit, others target an individual part.  You will fill your body with energy. Finish with a guided Meditation.

  • Day 3: Mystical Sacred Valley Tour + Meditation at Moray + Overnight in Sacred Valley (B,L)

After breakfast we set out into the Urubamba Valley. We will visit the Pisac Ruins. Our shamanic guide will lead you through the site starting at the sacred bathing area, where you will find a several baths that are feed from a series of adjoining water ducts. Adjacent to the baths on the side of a small valley, you will see ancient Incan burial tombs. Thousands of small holes dug neatly into the hillside form one of the largest burial sites ever found, where skeletal remains were found in the fetal position along with gifts or payments to the earth. Finally, you will get to the upper sector of the Pisac Ruins where you will find the spiritual and sacred Temple of the Sun, which surrounds a natural large rock, points directly towards a solitary high peak several hundred yards ahead. This is where we will take a moment to enjoy the incredible views that this remote peak offers. From here, we will walk through a small citadel, which forms the lower sector of the ruins, before continuing along a winding path and down to Pisac village. During this excursion, Shaman will perform the coca leaves ceremony. This starts with a prayer to the “Apus” and strip coca leaves on a traditional loom, later the Shaman will read each the personal future, and allowing time to respond to questions from the subject. After Lunch, you will visit Maras y Moray where you will have a meditation session. This archeological site is perhaps one of the most mysterious of the pre-Hispanic Cuzco area. You will end the day filled with the generous gifts of Pachamama.*An overnight in the sacred valley can be added upon request. Please let us know if you like us to add additional activities.

  • Day 4: Machu Picchu Tour + Overnight in Aguas Calientes (B)

After breakfast, we catch the train to the town of Aguas Calientes at the base of Machu Picchu, continue by bus for the short ride up switch backs to the Machu Picchu citadel overhead. We enter the ruins for a breathtaking view of the city in the sky. You will enjoy a 3-hour tour of the lost city and have lunch on your own after the tour. The afternoon is free to explore Aguas Calientes, relax, visit the hot springs or do some shopping.

  • Day 5: Shamanic Ceremony + Back to Cusco (B)

After your breakfast at your Aguas Calientes’ hotel, we will take a 6:00am bus to Machu Picchu to enjoy the sunrise and set up for the 2-hour Shamanic Ceremony. He will show us the ancient tradition of the “Despacho Ceremony” used to thank the mother earth or “pachamama”making traditional Andean offerings to Mother Earth and sacred mountains in celebration, reciprocity, love, and connection. In the afternoon, we say farewell to Machu Picchu as we set out by train heading to the station of Poroy and then to your hotel in Cusco by car.

After breakfast at your hotel in Cusco you will set out on grand tour of Cusco, the former capital of the once vast Incan Empire. We walk Cusco’s impressive Plaza de Armas and visit both the Spanish cathedral and Incan temple of the sun, Qoricancha. Next we set out to visit the ruins above the city that were considered an essential part of the ancient capital. We start from Sacsayhuaman, where Inti Raymi, the Festival of the Sun, is held during the Summer Solstice; Tambomachay, the Temple of the Sacred Waters, which is a marvel of hydraulic engineering and Q´enqo where we will see the remains of a ceremonial site used for fertility rites and for celebrations of the solstice and equinox. You will have a guided tour of the splendid and vast archaeological citadel of Pachacamac, the temple of the deity, Pachacamac, believed to be the creator of the universe and a divinity adored by old Andean civilizations. A sacred and ceremonial site dating back to the beginnings of Christianity where thousands of pilgrims converged to pay tribute and consult the Pachacamac oracle, who they believed could see the past, the future and people’s fate. The site comprises pyramidal temples and enclosures built by successive pre-Colombian civilizations and finally the Incas. Highlights include the Temple of Pachacamac, the Sun God shrine, and the Palace of the Chosen Women or Virgins of the Sun. At the site museum there is an idol of the deity, Pachacamac, which couldn’t be seen by the profane, and was reserved for the high priests who kept, revered and interpreted the divine oracle in the old times. A sacred site, the temple was considered to be part of the planet’s mystical axis. At the end of your tour, you will be transferred back to Lima Airport Hotel to get ready for your flight back home.*While in Lima, we highly recommend adding culinary activities such as cooking classes and tasting dinners in the best restaurants of Latin America, for more information check our Culinary site: and ask our agents for more information.
