Amazon Cruise Experience

(9 Days / 8 Night)

A classic itinerary with moderate walking at high levels with an added cruise to the Amazon River. This is our mainstay program, with an added cruise to the wonderful Amazon rainforest. You will begin your journey in Cusco, exploring the impressive sites of Sacsayhuaman and other surrounding sites around the city of Cusco, Ollantaytambo, in the Valley of the Incas, before reaching Machu Picchu. After this you will continue with your cruise to the Amazon, which constitutes over half of the planet’s remaining rainforest. This excursion is very special as it is a less “traveled road”. It is an amazing opportunity to explore the Amazon and all its wonders in the comfort of a boat. You will see exotic plants and incredible animals as the pink dolphin as well as experience and learn about the native’s cultures and customs. The Amazon river is the life force of the forest, rising in the Peruvian Andes and winding its way east over the northern half of South America until reaching the Atlantic Ocean. During this cruise you will visit the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, the largest protected flooded forests in the world, making it one of the primary intact swathes of rainforest in the Peruvian Amazon.

Therefore, tickets are non refundable and non transferable.
