Discovering the Inca marvels and Puerto Maldonado( 9 Days / 8 Night )
A multi-destination journey with direct arrival to the Sacred Valley. In this program, you will first get a great taste of Lima and then continue directly to the Sacred Valley. Many of our passengers prefer this option as the Sacred Valley is located at lower altitude than Cusco and you will have the first day to relax and/or explore on your own. Here you will visit Pisac and Ollantaytambo before reaching Machu Picchu with special Magical touches along the way. After Machupichu, you will go to Cusco where you will visit the impressive sites of Sacsayhuaman and other surrounding sites around the city. You then will continue to the city of Puerto Maldonado, from where you will take a boat to your lodge. This jungle is home to an extraordinary diversity of flora and fauna and, along with the Manu Reserve, it is one of the richest natural areas of earth. This is why Puerto Maldonado is known as the “biological capital of the world”. Although the city itself may have little of interest to tourists, it is the port of entry to some of the most beautiful forests in the country, particularly those in the Tambopata-Candamo Reserve.

About Machu Picchu Entrance Tickets As the popularity of Machu Picchu has increased in the last few years, and in order to preserve the ancient paths of Machu Picchu, the Peruvian Cultural Institute (INC) has restricted the number of people that could enter Machu Picchu to 2,500 people per day. This means that, once the 2,500 tickets are sold out, no further entrance tickets will be available. Therefore, tickets are non refundable and non transferable.
