Dedicated to private practice since 2000. He manages cases of periodontology and Implantology at various top clinics. Additionally, Dr. Tito Castagnola speaks English and Italian fluently, which will allow for effective communication to relay the necessary trust and confidence gained over the nearly eight years devoted to his specialty.

C.O.P 13634. Graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry, UPSMP. Master’s in the UIGV. Diplomate in Oral Rehabilitation and Aesthetics by UCSUR. University Faculty in the area of Oral Rehabilitation. “Train the Trainer Program” by Discus Dental (Sao Paulo, Brazil). Involved in private practice since 2000. He manages cases in Fixed Prosthetics. Types of Tours

Option #1: Dentistry Lima Express

This tour program is for travelers who wish to obtain minor or superficial dental care at a fraction of the cost, while being able to explore the magic and wonder of Peru for the same price as receiving dental care in their country of origin.

This program is usually added to any of our programs as a 1-day Extension or 2-day Extension:

1. Day Extension: Includes express cleaning + Whitening + Cavities
2. Day Extension: Includes express cleaning + Whitening + Cavities + up to 2 Porcelain Veneers

*These are examples programs, depending on your specific needs, our doctors and travel specialist will create the right itinerary for you.

Option #2: Priority Dentistry in Lima

This tour program is specifically created for travelers who are in need of a major dental work and being the dental aspect of the tour the Priority and the Travel as a complement. For this reason, we suggest that the tourism aspect of the tour be done prior to the dental component, as it is much more difficult to re-arrange dates, tickets and hotel bookings in the event of last minute or emergency dental details. The amount of time for the dental treatment is determine by the doctors and is based on the specific dental work the patient needs. Please see the process below.

How does it work?

• Contact us for initial consultation via mail or phone stating which option treatment you are interested in (1 or 2)
• You will then discuss with our dental partners, the possible treatment options and with our travel specialists the best itinerary for your trip.
• If choosing option 2:
  • We will require you to send your expressed dental needs, as previously diagnosed by your local dentist.
  • Send recent panoramic x-rays (if necessary) and digital photos (these can be taken with a regular camera on your own) in order to determine the number of appointments needed and give you  an estimate of the dental work  to be done (the final treatment plan will be given once a clinical examination in Lima is done).
• Our dental partners will send you an initial estimate for your treatments and tentative schedule.
• You will need to determine your tentative travel dates, based on estimated dates needed and scheduled appointments.
• Once all arrangements have been made and you travel to Peru, upon arrival and on your first appointment a clinical evaluation will be made by our dental partners to confirm initial diagnosis, in order to get a final diagnosis and definitive estimate.
• While in Peru, you will be in constant communication with our dental Partners, who will provide you with a cell phone that you can use to call them directly to consult on any questions you may have while you are doing your treatment.

Procedures

Dental Care

The foundation of good dental care is routine cleaning and maintenance. We prioritize your oral hygiene before any other procedure. We have ultrasound to make the procedure more comfortable and effective

Implantology

Procedure that replaces on or more teeth lost, with an artificial titanium root (dental implant). The titanium implant is inserted into the bone by the dentist and after the osseointegration period will receive the fixed or removable prosthetics depending in the case.

Porcelain Crowns

Advances in bonding, and the development of more resistant ceramics, allow us to make free metal crowns. All porcelain crowns maintain a high transparency, so it is difficult to differentiate them from natural teeth.

Veneers

Of all the methods available today for changing and improving the appearance of your smile, veneers are among the most popular and successful. Porcelain veneers are literally a few “layers that cover” and are placed on teeth to correct or improve the appearance. Can be useful to close spaces between teeth, raise or increase the size, change color, or straighten them. Many of our cases require only two visits, and the results are amazing.

Tooth Whiteninig

Bleaching is one of the most popular treatments in cosmetic dentistry. You can revitalize your smile with a brighter appearance. We use the Zoom Advanced Power procedure, one of the latest technologies used for bleaching teeth. So do not hesitate and ask about this simple procedure.

Endodontics

Is the field of dentistry that deals with the tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of the tooth. The pulp (containing nerves, arterioles and venules as well as lymphatic tissue and fibrous tissue) can become diseased or injured, and is often unable to repair itself; if it dies, or is injured or infected, endodontic treatment is required.

Field of dentistry which’s objectives are development, prevention and correction of teeth discrepancies related with, bite and maxillas.
